As we have all embraced the arrival of the new decade and reflected upon 2009, we begin to set our sights on what impact we can have upon hospitality and the guest’s experience in this advancing digital age and economic transition. As you review the end-of-year activities from the American Zone in the following pages, I invite you to incorporate the words of the Serenity Prayer into your personal and professional goals for 2010 – “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things that I cannot change; courage to change the things that I can; and the wisdom to know the difference.
