Founded in 1982 by the then Chief Concierge of the Mandarin Hong Kong hotel, Egon Letchka, The Society of the Golden Keys of Hong Kong follows the Les Clefs d’Or philosophy of Service Through Friendship.

The Society today has a three tier membership program and its members represent both leading hotels and important related businesses in one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations and centers of commerce.

Now celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary, the Society has during past years assisted in the setting up of Society chapters in China and Macau and today continues to maintain very close links with Les Clefs d’Or members in those places.

In addition to an annual general meeting and dinner, a Christmas party and a spring dinner at Chinese New Year, the Society organizes a number of other social occasions and calendar events where members may meet and exchange views and opinions, swap industry news and offer assistance to new members.
