I was born some sixty years on a beautiful resort in the south of France called Cannes which most of you have heard of because of its International Film Festival.  School was not my favorite and I was introduced to my first job as a page boy (during holiday time) very soon in my life. I had what I call a "classic " Concierge learning session over a 7 years period to end up in the hands of my mentor , none other than masterful Andre Damonte. Under his leadership, I grew up to be what I was going to be for the rest of my life and that is a professional Concierge, a "Clefs d'Or".

I was a member of the British Golden Keys before going back to Cannes in 1976 ; I took part in the activities of the regional Clefs d'Or association and, in 1998, became French Vice-president to Jean Claude Elgaire. In 2003, I became the President of l'Union Nationale des Concierges d'Hôtels "Les Clefs d'Or" - France. More recently, in Vienna and with your support, I was elected your International President.

In my electoral program, I engaged myself, together with the Executive Committee, to serve our Association in the very best of my abilities. Two years is a short time to get acquainted with the running affairs and finalising specific missions, but you can trust me to try my very best.

I am married, the father of two young men who are following daddy's footsteps. Yannick is the Chef Concierge at the Fouquet's Barriere in Paris, Gilles is one of my assistants.

I look forward to all the challenges which will come at me but "above all" look forward to meeting most of you , I look forward to being your friend.
